Hood River in Oregon is not the largest of cities. Getting around it is relatively easy, but that’s one of the things that makes it such a great and fun place to be in. The compact size means you don’t have to journey for miles simply to get from one place to another. Granted, it will take you more than a few minutes of walking to visit its many attractions, but that’s all part of the adventure.

Exploring Hood River will make you hungry, for sure. There are several restaurants you can choose from and here are a few of our favorites:

  • pFriem Tasting Room

What, you didn’t think Hood River had breweries? This is more than just a brewery, though. It doubles as a restaurant too, so you have sweet meals and sweeter beer to keep your belly occupied. The pFriem Tasting Room can be ranked with the best restaurants you can think of.

The line-up of meals awaiting you is more than impressive: Beef tongue, duck confit, mussels and frites, braised lamb stew (our favorite!) and more delicacies no one cooks as well as these cooks do.

  • Celilo Restaurant & Bar

Here’s local eating at its best.  The owners of this restaurant source all their ingredients locally, meaning they focus primarily on home-made tasting yumminess. On the menu, you have different kinds of pasta, fish, seafood, and salads, to mention a few.

Although the food is delish, the building itself is spectacular. The walls open up to the sidewalk, adding to its friendly, fun atmosphere.

So, there you have it: 2 great restaurants to try scrumptious foods during your next adventure to Hood River. Once you’re done eating, dab a napkin over your mouth and ask directions to a little place called Spa Remedease.

Full body massages, extensive facial care, pedicure, manicure; we offer it, but with our own special twist to make it even better.

Make a reservation now via our website. Welcome to Hood River, we look forward to seeing you in one of Oregon’s best small towns.
