In response to the growing national conversation around the need for more space for women, the Hood River County Commission has announced a new Women Reclaiming Space Workshop and Hoop Circle for 2022!
The event will be held at the Moon Mountain Highway Studio and will draw participants from all over the region. It will take place on Sunday, March 13, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM PDT. The price per ticket is $44.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer this workshop and hoop circle to our community,” said Commissioner Debbie Pendleton. “The space that women need to heal, connect, and create is so important, and we hope that this event will provide that space for many women in our area.”
The workshop will include guided meditation, discussion groups, creative activities, and time for personal reflection. In addition, the hoop circle will provide a space for women to come together and share their stories, learn from one another, and build community.
“This is an important time for all of us to come together and support each other,” said Commissioner Pendleton. “I hope that everyone in our community will join us in this event.”
