Eagle Creek is a tributary of the Columbia River Gorge. It’s a great place to relax and have fun. You can even camp in the area.
You’ll see a lot of other vacationers because the lower parts of the creek have some of the most popular trails. There are several other trails in the surrounding ridges and mountains too.
And we have to mention the waterfalls. You’ll marvel at how beautiful they are, and they make perfect backdrops for pictures. But, remember, even watching waterfalls is a soothing experience!
The Columbia River is the largest in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. It is renowned for its salmon and steelhead runs.
Over 1 million chinooks, sockeye salmon, and summer steelhead travel up the river to spawn in a year. You won’t find a better place in Hood River for fishing.
You can hire a boat, head out, and go fishing. It’s a calm and wonderful experience that can’t be replicated easily. But don’t go swimming because the Columbia River is not ideal for that.
