On a small-group tour through Oregon’s iconic natural attractions, you’ll get a fantastic opportunity to marvel at the quintessential Columbia Gorge River. It comes your way on the 10th of December, 2022!
This tour is limited to eleven participants, so tickets can sell out quickly. The tour duration is about 9 hours, and a tour guide will point out places of significance and value as you tour the region.
You will visit the historic Timberline Lodge on the majestic Mount Hood. You’ll also experience the charm of the magnificent Columbia Gorge and its Majestic waterfalls, the Multnomah Falls. So, expect to enjoy the fruits, cuisine, and beverages particular to the Hood River areas!
During your tour, you will travel through the east of Portland via the verdant landscape of Willamette valley, famous for its hazelnut berries, Christmas trees, and Pinot Noir.
Later, your tour will stop at a donut shop in the town of Sandy for coffee and some morning grub before ascending Mount Hood, the highest summit in the region.
The next hour will be spent at the historic Timberline Lodge, then to Hood River valley, where you see baby pigmy goats, get a photo of the mountain, purchase local fruits and preserves, and taste cider milkshakes, etc.!
This tour has a lot to do and see, especially the breathtaking Multnomah Falls, the tallest in the region. Your tour guide will also teach your group about the geological history that shaped the Columbia River Gorge as you move eastwards past the windsurfers in the Gorge.
