3 Great Ways to Enjoy Fall in Hood River
September 19, 2019

The holiday season is almost here, so you know that means, right? It’s the season to kick back and relax with friends and family, and Hood River has so many unique ways for you to do all that. Celebrate the coming holiday with these great tips.

  • Stress-Free Shopping

The coming months will mark a change in the activities in Hood River. The majority of the chefs, artists, and local makers will host sales, special events and open houses, which are all going to be a treat, obviously. There’s little need to bother yourself with all the harsh sounds and commotion of shopping in a city when Hood River is an excellent option.

HoodRiver.org has all the necessary information you need regarding holiday shopping events. The Last Chance Bazaar Holiday Bazaar, in particular, is something we highly recommend. It’s a great place to find unique and locally-made gifts.

  • Hikes Are Good for You

Shopping is fun and good but you’ll obviously need to take a break and try something different. Why not go on a refreshing hike? There are certainly more than enough trails for you to go on. Take a yoga class if you fancy something less physical. And if you plan to be in Hood River for Thanksgiving, don’t let the Mosier Twin Tunnels Turkey Trot pass you by. It’s a fun experience on its own, especially because there will be lots of vacationers like you participating in it. It’s also open to walkers and runners alike, and options that cater to your entire family are available too. The more the merrier, right?

  • Art and Dance

It’s always a challenge when you have to bring art, music, singing and dancing together and deliver something that is both fun and insightful in equal parts, but Hood River manages it with ease.  The CAST Holiday Performance Spectacular has a number of fun things for you throughout the month. The Sense of Place lecture series will broaden your knowledge just as the rock concert will entertain you. And you can’t miss the BIG Art walking tour; it’s another favorite attraction of the folks at Hood Rover and foreigners too.

So many activities entail tired and sweaty bodies, right? Is there a way to take care of that while still enjoying yourself and having a good time? Spa Remedease can answer that.
